Most important position — at scoring time
he referee must be in position for the most important action of a match — when a team scores points.
When a player presses the ball down in the in-goal area (end zone), Mr. Referee had better be there to see whether the ball was "grounded" correctly at the spot of the action.
Law 9 - Method of Scoring: Try - When an attacking player is first to ground the ball in the opponents' in-goal.
